Sweet Jesus

This is our 2017 Easter brew.  Fruit of the field and work of human hands, it has become a delicious drink.

At 6.9% ABV this beer starts of sweet with a bitter finish.  Using crude calculations and an online calculator we are guessing the IBU to be about 41.

Heritage Hefeweizen

Using apricots from the Sunnyvale orchards, we created a few variations of this Hefewizen.  All had apricots added during the boil and then some were dry-hopped with different amounts of apricots.

This Hefeweizen finished with a 5.8% ABV and an IBU of 24.

Bacon Grease Leftovers

Using some left over malt and hops from a previous brew, we added some cherry-wood smoked malt to create this unique brew.  It has  a smooth, smoky flavor and is easy to drink.  With an ABV of 7.6% and an IBU of 29, there is no bacon in the beer, no grease, and there will be no leftovers.

Birthday

A less bitter and less red version of Sweet Jesus.  It is a sweet, malty beer with an ABV of 7% and an IBU of 14.

CAB

The goal of this beer was to make a Cheap Ale Beer.  It has 2 different malts and 2 different hops.  It was on the more bitter side and has an ABV 5.7%.  I think we can make this beer better and for less in the future.
